Colour ID Button chick

Hey peeps,

I had a single chick hatch out from a batch. Can I have an idea on the colour ID? It's mostly bright yellow except the top of its head is showing silver and has very faint silver marbling ... so is this baby a silver pearl or silver redbreast or some other? Thankyou ❤

Give it a day or two more to see if the yellow gets more tints or dustings but general rule for buttons all yellow turns white except when it's tinted or dusted then u get whites with grey and silver or powder effect or cinnamons and so on plus pieds so far looks normal white with darker coloring on head but not sure yet

Thankyou, lil one's markings are more noticeable today. I'm thinking poss silver tuxedo? As there is a clear definition between bright yellow and silver tint xx

I dont think chick is a silver pearl as I have one that's 6 weeks old and they had zero marbling markings as a chick just the silver tint to the yellow fuzz ...

That one looks like it will probably be silver. The bright yellow will usually turn white, but with the pale stripes, I'm thinking silver.

If I had to guess at this stage then it's either white , or light silver , or pied but so far looking white but it's still young it can get stuff still

Definately not white, I have an all white girl and she had no grey come thru at all when her feathers started. Max has dark feathers turning white at the tips growing thru in the actual marble pattern that was faint when just hatched, also yellow fluff has gotten darker and darker on its back. Definately darker than my silver pearl as a chick so I'm thinking slate tux or pied. I'm enjoying the fact Max is keeping me guessing tho
