Well I wasn't able to get my eggs today like I thought, but I'm not completely out yet, the source of my eggs does have some anyway and my husband has agreed to the 3 hour drive each way to pick them up, just have to figure out how we are going to do it.
 
Since I started mine last week I'm not going to add any more right now, but I would like to hatch some Ameraucanas after these are done. Does anyone know of a source for these that is in Florida. I drive to Live Oak fairly regularly so it doesn't have to be south florida. I'm wondering if I will have to wait until next year, even though we don't really have a bad winter here.
 
I really loathe slow shipments, my current eggs took 5 days to arrive and I think that had a lot to do with the high count of quitters
Read some other threads with people setting older eggs (2+ weeks old) I really believe it has to do with the shipping and the up and down of the flights the usps uses. That and the general lack of care in handling of packages by USPS
