The Inkybator is hovering between 98.5 and 101 but I see it most of the time in the 99's..

is this ok ????? .... I have never done this before.

yeah that should be fine. My controller fluctuates between 101.5 & 99.3

That's fine as long as it doesn't go over 102 or under 96 you are fine. What is your humidity running at?

bring it down to 40-45%. 55% is a little too much during incubation. Just watch the air cells when you candle them. This is what they should look like:

If the air cell is too small when you candle you need to decrease the humidity. If the air cell is too big then you need to increase it.

Getting a dozen eggs from My Pet Chicken today. I got the educators package, and according to the email I'm getting RIRs, EEs, and Marans. That makes me really happy because when I called, I really wanted Marans but they said they weren't laying well. So I also got 2 Maran eggs from a friend of mine to throw in, and depending on how many extras I get (I've heard MPC usually sends some extras), I'm going to throw in some olive eggs from my personal hen. If I get them set today, hatching day will be the 12th, which is 3 days before my baby's second birthday. This is my first time using an egg turner, and my incubator is running 99/100.
