Yes Miss Lydia I believe that’s is where she came from “Golden layer 300” or some sort. As in 300eggs/year. I believe it!

Welsh Harlequins and Campbells are great egg ducks as well. I've had both breeds and found them to be friendly and personable (though the Australian Spots are still my favorite for personality.

I'm partial to the Harlequins simply because they're a pretty duck to go along with good laying characteristics, and they mesh well with my housing and care system.

I’ve been offline for sometime due to workload and of course the Corona Virus stuff. I have 5 ducklings in the incubator from my brood here at home. The first run were duds, the next 7 yielding 5 growing little joys! My first time hatching and I’m very excited!!!
I managed to pick up a small chick warming plate from Brinsea to get rid of that scary old heat lamp. I was always concerned about something catching fire, so this is piece of mind and hopefully better for the little fellers.
