Concerned??...

Okay, I looked for it at the feed store today, and didn't find any. Would it be too late to order online? And also how do you tell if your food is rotten?
I got some different kind and it smells funny to me.. But maybe its just the food.
Sometimes you have to look in the cattle section or they have a little refrigerator. But yes you can order it online.

What kind is it? Does it have fish in it? My feed doesn’t typically stink. To me it smells like grain. If it smells sour, it could be bad. Check the expiration date on it.

Have you checked her legs my little duckling had straddle leg and laid down a lot so I tapped her legs together off and on for 48 hours and was completely back to normal and didn’t lay down all the time

My male muscovy duckling lays down a lot more than his sisters, but I just thought it was because he is bigger? They have purina flock raiser and niacin in their water. Should I be doing more?

Its this:: its also packed in there tight and there was big dumps in it, but it crumbled down real good. I haven't given it to them yet, I dont know if I should. Im not sure if it has fish in it or not.
What can I feed them until I can get back to the store tomorrow if its icky?

I would see if they have this next time.....https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...MIs_7v88mz2gIVBChpCh2Hpwy3EAQYASABEgKmjPD_BwE
The kind you bought is moreso for chickens than water fowl.

You could give them scrambled eggs, smushed peas......... but if it smells rancid, I’d take it back. But I can’t really tell you a lot without being there to see for myself.
Okay! Ill take it back tomorrow. Ill look for a different food. The store told us when we got our ducks to buy that food?? Is it okay for them to eat though?

Yes if you don’t think it’s bad, you can feed it to them. And you could probably finish the whole bag. I would just add vitamins regularly. Since it’s just a little bit different than what ducks need. No biggie.

Do they just need the niacin? Im thinking the food is bad.. So i don't have any food for them until tomorrow when I take it back.. I have cracked corn and that's it for food for everyone right now. :(

If you go back and buy the same kind, I would buy some packages of poultry vitamins or the concentrated poultry liquid vitamins and keep it in their water all the time.
