Confused about pasty butt

Is any poop dried to their hind fluff potentialy pasty butt?

3 of my six have bits of poop below their vent and one had a wee bit on the vent. I cleaned the later one and it came off no problem, but should I also clean the other two with just the bits below?

As long as the vent itself is clear and they can poop, they're okay. You just want to watch for buildup that blocks the vent. This is potentially fatal so needs to be watched.

The more particles that build up give the next poo a place to attach, so try to clean as much as possible to prevent "the snowball effect"

In my group I cleaned them all because I noticed some chicks were pecking at the crusty butts out of curiosity, and that seemed dangerous.
