We were told they were Golden Laced Wyandottes but we think they are actually Golden Laced Orpingtons because they all have a single comb. What do you all think they are?

Orpingtons have white legs. Your are probably hatchery quality wyandottes. Single combs are recessive and can pop up in wyandottes from time to time.

I don't think there's anything that comes in gold laced with clean yellow legs and straight combs. I'd be asking the "breeder" what's up.

That's a gold laced Wyandotte. I had a GLW with a single comb. It's not uncommon in hatchery birds.

Looks like a GLW with single comb - it can happen in breeder birds if the breeder isn't careful about the breeding stock they choose - ie they get single combs in chicks and don't remove the parent stock from their program.
