Connecticut Chicken Stock

What if I bring the spinner, and hot knife, I am willing to take my chances about being stung.

Well, already then! Spin away. We have no such high tech devices here....we do a slow, painful drip through the strainer kind of thing...course we're hoping our bees make it through the winter. Else we'll be relying on 2007 vintage honey for the grand prize.

Our beekeeping experience has been similar to yours Marlin. Not for the faint of heart, or those easily discouraged. Last spring was the first year we actually had a hive make it through the winter, and not only that, we had a swarm in July, and ended up with 2 hives.

We had high hopes for the swarm hive as they were CT born and bred, but looks like they didn't make it. Anyway, you're more than welcome to head our way to chickenstock, check out the hives, have fun with chickens and their people. Think about it.
