Connecticut Chicken Stock

Cool! I'm going to try to hold out a few more weeks and see if I can find two khaki ducklings locally. Kind of an "if I can find them then it was meant to be" thing. Thanks for the info though. I'll keep it mind just in case!

Is it too early to be making definite plans for our mid-summer chickenstock? I think not!!! Spring fever strikes, Let the ideas flow my friends, and we can make them happen.

Time to get moving on the t-shirt idea. Two people offered to take on the project, but I haven't heard anything about it lately. Who wants to run with it? I have no desire to do it all!

Let's compile a guest list; please e-mail or pm me with your name, BYC screen name, and number in your party. I'd like to have an approximate number of guests, for parking, nametag, and bathroom considerations, Include chicks or eggs you might bring.

As to a poultry, egg, giveaway, swap, buy area, I'd like to find out more about legalities before moving ahead with it. If we decide to go forward with a marketplace, we'll want a list of who's got what, and who wants what. Volunteers?

I've got an idea for a game we might play (guess which breed chicken you are) and a prize of my own homegrown honey. Any other games and prizes most welcome. Chicken songs are heartily encouraged.

I could get going on the tees. I just put out a feeler email to the sponser of my volleyball team (screen printers). I would like group imput on the images we want on the tees. Also, do we want to make it easy and have all one style of tee...or might some of you want tank tops, long sleeves....

Hi all,
I really want to meet you all. Visiting relatives may put a cramp in those plans. I'm gonna do my best to encourage their visits on different dates!
Thanks for hosting it, Becky.
