i've had the most relaxing, do what i want summer ever!!
usually i'm working or stressing or changing jobs bringing on more stress. so i have nothing to complain about this time. i just wish i could get paid to stay home and work the farm.

Maybe I'll bring one with me next weekend. Get your fryer ready. Yum.

If you are coming over it's gotta be the 6th or 7th. Trouble is MNC has to work and we
gotta have her there too. I can't wait to see both you faces when you get your
little duckies.

Yup that was the plan. I guess I'll be driving up with MNC too. Can't wait to see you guys.

BTW - I've been calling different places all morning trying to find a flatbed trailer to rent that would accomodate my 8'x8' coop.....so far no luck......I like PC's idea of getting a car carrier to do the move but I don't know of any off the top of my head and I'm worried about the cost........

Plan B would be to add many, many, planting to my existing run and leave the coop where it is.....I'm going to stop at Home Depot on the way home and see what they have and how much.....

Hey neighbor. We're about a half mile down the road from Belinski's which is a real, going concern farm, where ours is more a farmette and work in progress. It's a good place for chickens though and for chicken parties.

I've been busy lately so am just catching up on the CT Crew's line-up of activities. Impressive! We could do another chicken event here in the fall. Party up by the house, process down below. Have a puppy day camp, chicken swap, and tractor rides. You know, the usual!

I must ride my bike by your house a couple times a week....Are you the red house & barn on the right right before you get to Shelton Road ? Do you have a little vegetable stand out in your front yard ??? If so I've been meaning to stop by because I've seen chickens ranging in your yard from time to time and I wanted to ask you what your experience has been regarding hawks...

Drop me a line....my name is Joe..(If you couldn't tell by the "cryptic" screenname..
