Hey, I was just going to post here too.....

I have a friend who's husband is looking for some laying hens.....anybody have or know of any laying hens for sale ? He's looking for 4 but will take whatever he can get......I realize it's a tough time of the year to be looking but I said I'd ask here......

I was telling this guy's wife about it but couldn't remember the name.....
I had called when you first told me about but they want $50 for a laying hen......

I'll let the wife know and see what happens....

$50 for a laying hen?! No way..I know they charge $50 for their ugly pet quality silkies..but for a sex link..I'm shocked.

I'm doing great. MNC, PC, and I just had another get together on Sunday. Went great, as usual

hey joe, welcome back.

salem prices can be high...but i bet if you go in and start talking you can work something out. it's kinda a typical new england experience...you call and they're distant and unhelpful, you go in as a newbie, they're distant, destainful and unhelpful; you go a few times, talk to people, listen to their woes, and amazingly, you like them and they're willing to compromise. yeah, i'm a new englander, i can talk about us if i want to.

Just called Salem Feed & Grain. Most laying birds are $25. Ameracaunas were $50......stupid green eggs....
