we had a great time. loved seeeing all the roos, and that bantam baby was just soo sweet.


ok, here's the brownie recipe:)

2 1/2 c oats
3/4 c flour
3/4 c packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 c butter or marg melted


heat oven to 350 degrees. spray 13x9 pan

large bowl, mix dry ingrediants, stir in butter. reserve 3/4 c for topping (i just eyeball it in half). press it into bottom of pan. bake 10 min. cool 5.

4 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
2/3 c butter/marg
2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

in 3 qt saucepan melt chocolate and butter over low heat stirring occasionaly. remove from heat. stir in sugar, vannila, and eggs. stir in flour, baking soda, and and salt.

spread filling over base. sprinkle w/rest of oat mixture. bake 30 min or unti center is set and oats are golden brown, (do not overbake) cool comepletely, about 2 hours.
