[Egg Crate]

So we "rehomed" the two silkie roos last week, and now Brownie, one of the 2011 spring chicks, started crowing this weekend! A roooo a roooo rooooOOOOOOOOO!


Daughter and I did make it out to the 4H fair yesterday for a bit. While we were gone Napoleon, the bantam Cochin roo, was chasing my wife, who was working on her gardens, around the back yard. She had to defend herself with a tree branch.

Jimmythechicken: That bread recipe looks good. I pretty much make all the bread at our house and plan to give that recipe a try tomorrow.

Egg Crate: hope you had fun at the fair. I can't wait to go pick up my chickiedoodles today and bring them home. I miss them. (And boy are they in for a surprise- I reconfigured the inside of the coop while they were away!)
