Connecticut!

Sorry about my short response before, work was getting on the way of important chicken business. i assume they aren't being raised by a mama that will keep them warm. If you start the brooder at 95° the first week, and drop by 5° each week they will still be at around 80°. We haven't even had highs of 80° lately, so depending on the weather you probably need to wait a few more weeks. More time to bond!
I got chicks that are 3 1/2 weeks old. Can they go outside now in the coop without a lamp?

I have a question/ concern:

I received my chicks yesterday morning (Wednesday) I have one that is not as active as the rest, and does not
eat as much as the rest. She tends to want to stay under the EcoGlow. The other three are running around, eating, eating, eating. She was fine yesterday AM, but last night she started with wanting to "rest"., and not really interested in eating.

This morning she was fine, eating, and active like the rest. Again tonight she is doing what she did last night.

I am very concerned, I do not want her to die. They are were vaccinated for Mercks, could she be having a reaction
to the shot?

Any thoughts.. PLEASE!!! help!!

Yeah but I have 46 chicks in total and there becoming to big for my brooder, I heard if you keep chicks to tight and not alot of room they will not grow properly amd will take forever to grow

Then you need to figure out how to give them heat out there. If it gets a little warmer it won't be so hard, but they need the heat.

I had a golden sex link chick that seemed to be behind the rest. I think she was rather submissive and didnt get to feed like the rest. She started to appear weak and sleeping at odd times compared to the others. I gave her some special TLC. I hard boiled a few eggs and gave her yolk crumbles to get her strength up. Worked like a charm. After the first feeding I saw a change in her overall energy level, and after the 5th day, she was doing much better. As an added benefit, good bonding time.
