One more question. Does anyone know someone in CT who processes small quantities of meat birds? I am thinking of diving into that whole realm this summer but I would need help with the processing until/if I felt comfortable doing it myself.

Anybody having problems with the smoke from the Willi-Waste fire? Luckily I'm well South East, but if the wind turns I may get some of it. Is it causing issues for anybody in that area?

i have a mixed flock of bantams and standards 13 chickens in all. i cant even remember all the breeds i have but my two breeds that i breed the most are my old English games and Belgian bearded D'Anvers

I have two bantam sized and 10 standard. I keep them all together, and the only ones of the same breed I have are the three different colors of brahma. I don't breed, all pullets.

i only breed my bantams, i have 7 bantams and 6 standards the only same breeds i have are my 2 polish and 3 Belgian bearded D'Anvers. have a light brahma used to have 2 darks. my light brahma is 7 she is my second oldest bird.

i also don't breed one of my polish because i don't like her personality, she is too skittish
