I've done my homework and have options for a Chicken Fest in CT so, I've started a new thread. I went to my town hall and there is a possibility of doing one here in Bethany, CT on two different possible dates

CT peeps: there's a great sale on pine shavings at Tractor Supply right now: $3.5per bag

My TSC in Enfield was sold out BUT... I got a raincheck for twenty bags, which works out just fine (I don't even use 20 bags in a year, so I'll be good for a while at a wicked cool price!).

Just thought I'd share.

I went to the TSC in New Milford the other day to get shavings and all they had was the fine stuff. I like the flake better so I did not buy any.

I get all of my shavings for free from a local lumber company!!!! My dad's a carpenter, so they let us use it.
