They are so cute! I still think they should be sitting on someone's bed as opposed to living in a coop!

welcome beth g. on byc has really nice birds. she has ducks eggs too. i go help her at her farm and she is only maybe 20-30 mins from meriden mall. she has nice bantam cohcins, very fluffy beautiful silkies, all different colored opintons, aracanas, and some kind of chocolate egg colored bird i forget the breed sorry. but she has a nice farm that is really set up nice and very clean. she does a good job. i have birds but i dont really sell eggs for hatching bc i dont know why? good luck and hey ive wanted an incubator for years but now that i bought some silkies i hope to have a built in incubator!

Beth does have lovely healthy birds. I think she has Marans that make the dark eggs.

oh yes newchick that is the breed your right! I just couldnt remember for the life of me!! dont you just love her set up? she can separte them by breed and can have all the roosters she want! also it helps she has husband to do all that building. my husband to old and cant really do it anymore. her husband said if he get more time he wlil help build me a new silkie coop! i told him not unless i apy him! those two beth and rob are so nice they always want to give me stuff and i dont want something for nothing. i love to go and learn form them both. she is good abotu taking care of them and knows alot of tricks. i think are you the one that hatched out the two cute aracans? i was playing with them yesterday and let them out on the grass! i coudlnt catch them they werw so quick!! i had to round them up in the corner of the fence and grab them quick. glad no one saw me runing after chickens liek a crazy old lady!!

Yes, that was my Bobby that hatched them. Beth is so generous with her knowledge. I love that about chicken people and gardeners too. I love that you can ask all your stupid questions and not feel like a dope.

yeh that is true about them. my neighbor was good abotu teachin me to put coffee grinds on my blueberry bushes in fall. it helps alot i never knew that. those two chicks are very funny! i like the black one with the red in it. it has a big personlity.

i think that little one might be the black and red one but, i didn't really examine her up close. just close enough to try and grab her a few times.
