Considering getting emu, looking for all the advice I can get!

I have plenty of questions regarding keeping and raising emus as I am considering getting one in the future.
Feel free to toss anything you know at me, but here's a few specific questions too!
1. What'd the adequate space for an emu?
2. Are they able to be kept alone or is it best to buy two?

Wild animals, my emus just run around back yard. Not recommend if you have children.
They are strong, raise more easier than chicken, but cost more for food. You can raise for oil, egg for cooking or hatch more chick .
This season, they laid every 3-4 days. Beautiful eggs for art, painting...
