No no... $75 is the portion of the adoption amount you get back for spay/neuter! It's like $125-150 to adopt I think! But yeah pretty much! I mean really is a chicken going to Hurt a car in a residential neighborhood blocks from a school zone! Not likely!

Really thats awesome. what kind do you have.
My silver pheasant should hatch on Wensday same with my Chukar.

I have Black Melanistic. I noticed you had quite a list. Would love to exchange eggs later if your interested. Red Goldens or Amherst are my preferences. Only have this one egg hatching so far. The first 6 weren't fertile. I saved back a male last year and I sure hope he is good. He is prettier than his father. I only have 2 hens in with my old male and I have about 8 in with the new one. I just put eggs in the incubators as they come. Sometimes it is every other day. I think that improves your hatchability but sometimes it's a pain to keep track of. I think my next batch should hatch about the 7th if I remember right. Also have guineas due about that same time. I hatch some chicks and ducks every day.

I would love to exchange some eggs . My Lady Amherst are not laying yet.
I have read that if you allow a Pheasant egg to set a few days your hatch rate is better.

Those birds look really sweet! In some ways I am jealous. pidgins love to fly. I am sure that is something that every human is at least some what envious of. As a kid I used to let my pidgins out and enjoy them in flight every day. Too bad the rollers have a defective gene combination in their cones (in nostrils) that make them loose temporary conscience. But then it is way cool to watch them roll 15 to 20 times before they recover and fly again. (just like fainting goats) For me the best is to watch them fly though the air like a dolphin on the bow of a fast boat. I also love to watch them in their well choreographed mating behaviors. Oh the longing!!!! Oh the longing!~!!!
