Nope and it's a big brooder too. The building is like 7 foot by 12 foot long I have 6 different pens in there to separate ages, types etc. Problem is I live too far from anywhere to sell many chicks right now. No one wants to buy gas. I am never going to be chick free in my house!!! I am so sick of it smelling like a barn. Arrggh!
Here at Slippery Hill Farm birds are popping out of shells.
Fell asleep eating poor Chukar. Silver bay is standing guard ( yes I know I shouldn't have Chukar and pheasant in the same brooder, but I have too for at least a week till the new brooder gets done.
Here is a look into the bator at the last Silver Pheasant hatching.
EDITED TO POST NEW HATCHLING
So I have so far a total of 2 Chukar and 2 Pheasant until this last chick hatches then I will have three Silver Pheasant fuzzy butt's
I guess I should take pictures. I like your chukar/pheasant set up. My two pheasant were in with baby chicks until I could get a bin ready for them. We all have to do what we have to do to get by.
