WELCOME!

Hi Erin,
I would strongly recommend placing your coop where it will get shade in the summer, and possibly a wind break in winter. My coops are in deep shade, and I think that's what saved my girls in this extreme heat. Also, my coops are not insulated, but in a little alcove of trees, which help block the worst of the wind in winter. Really helps keep it warmer when the temperature drops.

I am looking for Terry and Ginger Hook in eastern Kansas. Bonner Springs I believe. They used to have greenhouses and now they have chickens. I don't know if they are BYCers or not.

I'll be in Lawrence this coming weekend for a cage bird expo. I have some really nice pigeons I'm looking to sell, not at the cage bird expo. If any of you Kansas folks up that way would be interested in any of them let me know and I can bring them up there for you to meet me and get.

Have: West of England Tumblers, capuchine, modena, and oriental frills.
