anyone know of anyone missing any goats in central kansas? I have a two confirmed by me and than the kids said they seen 4 or 5 goats running around on the farm. There are in and out of the fields and woods and seem a bit skiddish. we havent caught any yet but i have came close to a few so i do have a description of two of them. i think my legs are ganna fall off from trin to get them all day with no luck

Hi fellow kansans!
I'm new to byc and chicken raising. But we now have 14 chicks and are working to finish our coop made from a wood shed we had.
I saw some of you are headed to the state fair, I will be checking out the poultry barn for sure.
Glad to find such a wonderful source of knowledge and fun people.

I'm hoping by the end of this long weekend our girls will be in there new home. So much to see, learn and do!

I do have one question. Does anyone have an idea why the metal two walled vacuum 2 gallon water keeps leaking? I filled it all the way and let it settle but it keeps dripping over and leaks everywhere. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this but I tried to read the other forums and can't seem to find an answer.
It's probably something simple that I'm just not doing right. Thanks for any help.

They have to be setting very level to not leak and I've got a couple that I quit using because they leak no matter what. If it's a new one and you've still got the receipt, I'd take it back and exchange it for another.
