Coop Build Deja Vu

thank you for the step by step and showing the basics. I'm getting started on a similar build this weekend and your pictures are a ton of help!

Not much progress on this overcast rainy day . But did get this done .

Started off today rainy , ended up sunny and clear , so I did get a little work done .
First I got the back side gable vent in .

Then I did the trim on front side of coop and the gable and also the trim on the gable end of run . I also put in the rest of the uprights on both sides of run - 2' on center .

I loved following your first coop build, am loving this one as well. Great step by step updates and pictures, very helpful. A few things I did on my coop were inspired by yours. Great job! I should update my build thread, too. I'm almost done with everything and the chickens have moved in, but haven't updated in a while.

Thanks , this one is going easier , I don't need to figure anything out :lau . Its been fun so far . Yes , update your coop thread with the chicks in there , cool to see the coop builds with occupants in them .

Not much progress the last few days . Between rain , getting my garden planting finished up , and opening the pool I've been busy . I did get a little painting done today on the last of the trim and pieces for the back door . I'll try to get that door built tomorrow .

Got the back door made and mounted just before the rain started . Needs paint touched up but I gotta wait for my painter to get to that . Also have a second slide latch to go on lower part of door .

Looks great. Of course if you had my luck, that tree in the background would get a lightning strike and it would fall exactly on the middle of the roof! :he

Thanks . Hopefully we'll have no lightning strikes :fl , trees are all Red Oaks , heavy and dense as H- E - double tooth picks .
