four sitting in egg boxxes
five on the ladder
and six inside on the coop floor?

Your coop is so fabulous! It's a real shame that you have to be "granted permission" to provide you and your family with a healthy food source, not to mention some wonderful pets! If we don't demand that our freedoms be left alone, they will be taken away bit by bit. Good for you!!!

That is beautiful--on the inside as well as the outside! Your daughter seems to be thinking "to know the chicken is to be one with the chicken."
Congrats on the city council win--shame you have to 'fight' for something like this!
As far as the cow goes...you should check into zebu (miniature); you've already gotten the city council to allow chickens, what's a small breed cow or 2? lol
