coop small- ladies not so happy.

    Ok aart. so do you know how I would do that? any tips on making the run a coop and making a much larger run??

    You could build a free run like the coop but without the nesting boxes and make a mesh tunnel from the free run to the coop. I got the tunnel idea from the Urban Chicken. The tunnel idea also works if you have little space. I'm considering doing this myself.

    Are the RIRs the aggresive ones? I have heard they can be.

    yes. the rirs are aggressive and they pick the feathers off of the ee's.

    I think room and lack of protein is the issue...
    any tips?

    Do you have feed for laying hens? Yes. That should be enough protein. (Maybeish I thinkish)
