Corid, Electrolytes, Vitamins, Appetite, Heat Questions... CONFUSED... NEED HELP PLEASE

I've been treating (successfully) for coccidiosis. I'm on day 7 treating with 2 teaspoons Corid per gallon of water. Tomorrow I will begin a 7 - 14 day treatment of 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. It's been really hot and humid here in central Indiana and it's going to be hot and humid for the foreseeable future.

Their appetites are down. I gave them yogurt a little while ago and normally they inhale that stuff but not today. They aren't eating their wet mash of their medicated starter feed and they aren't drinking as much either. I put frozen water bottles in their waterer. They are eating and drinking SOME because I see them do it. It's just down.

QUESTION 1: Is this from the Corid/coccidiosis or just the heat?

They are acting fine but walking around with open beaks and panting. I'm trying to leave them alone so not to over-excite them due to the heat. I have a large furnace blower motor blowing air through their run with 2 smaller fans down low. One fan in their coop window and at night I put ice blocks behind the fan to blow the cold air from them.

I understand electrolytes should be added to the water and increasing their protein is helpful since they aren't eating as much.

QUESTION 2: Is it ok to combine electrolytes with Corid?

I understand that after a treatment of Corid I should give electrolytes and vitamins to replace what's been lost due to the Corid.

QUESTION 3: When should I start all of this? With this heat I really need to do something now but I'm new at all of this and need help with properly feeding them to get them through this crazy heat and coccidiosis treatment.

They showed a lot of improvement after the feed and I am apprehensive to stop it. But when I got their poop tested after completing their treatment it showed a single Cocci in it still. So, my vet has told me to give the medication for 2 more days. He says that giving the medicated starter along with it is okay. I am so confused..

I am completely new to raising chicks actually and everyday I have more and more questions.. Please do help me if possible..

Are you using Corid?
I would follow the vet's advice and continue the Corid.

It will not do any harm to use the medicated feed along with the Corid but after you run out of this bag of medicated feed I advice you switch to non medicated chick feed.

I was actually giving them food that I made at home by crushing soya, corn and Bajra (pearl millet). But my baby chick Tooki had real stunted growth. She is 7 weeks old. Ever since I started the medicated feed she has started to grow just a bit.

Are you mixing enough?

If you didn't start treatment soon enough it could have done irreversible damage to the chicks intestines, hopefully she will start to gain weight and grow better now that you are treating it though.

Also, my older chick Tooki stopped walking and just kept sleeping. She would only get up to eat and I had to hold her to drink water for days! But after this treatment and starting the medicated feed, she is able to walk and stand on her own, though she mostly sits the entire day. But I have noticed that she is more alert and after the Cocci treatment she has shown slight weight gain and new feathers too!
But after I got her poop tested the vet said that Tooki had one Cocci bacteria and some worm eggs. I dewormed her and her sister day before after which their poop looks brown with a white cap on top. From what I know that is healthy.
However, I again noticed red mucous in their poop (But just a bit and only once) so my vet told me to give Cocci treatment again for 2 days.

I live in India and I found this product.
The vet approved it and is also has some Sulfa drugs in it apparently.
I am giving them .6 grams mixed in 1 litre of water. The dose on the packet is 30 grams in 50 litres of water.
PS: I got the medicated feed from a poultry farm.

What is the medication in your feed?
Are you feeding them this homemade feed mixture just right now or do you use it all the time?
Can you buy a complete poultry feed?

I discussed with a vet and he said to start Coccidiosis treatment using the medicine AMPROLIUM. The drug that I found here in India that has amprolium is called Coccicilinplus. It has 20% of it. The vet said that giving it for 5 days should be enough.

After that I got Tooki's dropping tested after finally finding a vet who does this work! Though He only tests for worms and Coccidiosis. He said that she had one Cocci bacteria and worm eggs(didnt specify which) and to do deworming for a day. I completed the first deworming day before yesterday using ALBENDAZOLE.

I do not know what is the medication in the feed. I got it from a poultry research centre while I was treating my girls for Coccidiosis. I have not fed them anything homemade from then except for boiled eggs. And that was also only 2 times.

I am trying to find poultry feed from somewhere else.

Yes cocci is a bacteria and coccidia/coccidiosis is a parasite.

What does the feed bag say the ingredients are?

How much Albendazole did you use?
Are you aware you much retreat/use it again in 7 to 10 days?
