Here's a pic of my oldest chick born out of my pair he is almost 7 weeks

I know they are very deep yellow, I like that about it.
I'm going to weigh that chick tomorrow
Besides that, does it look like an improvement? Or should I start fresh with better quality birds, I really like these breed

I'll leave that question to the experts like Walt. I am just starting to get a good feel for the breed and gotten stock decent enough to start really paying attention.

I really like the distance between the legs. It is still too early to know what they are going to be like, but the only thing I see that is negative is that the side view of the head seems to indicate it has a long head and beak. Overall it seems to be a good bird. If you can post pics as it develops.
