I heard nothing from thatI bet thatās annoying!!! And yeah, thatās true!! Haha thankfully this is only at night and I guess normal people are probably asleep by now anyway but it really annoys meeven my dad commented on it which is why I started noticing it more/trying to figure it out haha
I took a couple short videos of it lol I opened the windows part way through healer to hear it better so itās not as loud with them shut but still loud enough to be annoying and itās constant.

They never got me a pony either lol. I'm sure everyone has a "but you promised me a pony!" story but my mom actually dangled it over me for 5th grade, then after I delivered straight As for the entire year as well as student of the quarter as per the deal, said that I was being ridiculous and didn't I know how much a horse cost?
I never believed any of her "promises" after that.
Aside from you all bringing back my joy of cooking

, ya'll have stirred up my gardening thumb. Also only certain people could do this.
I have 4 4x4 foot "boxes" made and filled with MY garden mix dirt , I am just roaring along after being stuck in Florida with a backyard of beach sand. I planted beans once and got enough for one meal, LOL. I planted tomatoes which all split and died a terrible death. I had some other stuff but can't remember what. All these veggies were started on my porch. After 14 years of trying to grow anything green it was just too Upsetting to continue to fight this battle.
After 14 years I got 2 rose bushes with 1/2 day of sun and grew like crazy, 10 years of daylilies not doing great until year 10 when I realized how to grow them. and 20 privet/lagustrum . They grew like crazy and it was a cheap and beautiful way to get some green. And one actually made it into being a tree. That is about it. Maybe 1 tree. So sad.
In LI NY, for about 8 years I had gardens to die for. 80 rose bushes (cut down after a few years). Daylilies, lavender , coreopsis , shasta daisies. In my front yard I had a "pretend" bridge with ornamental grass filling in to make it look oh so real. I had a depression (?) in the back yard where we could dump manure off the edge in the woods. I had an endless supply of compost. I had my own rototiller.
I had a rooster that eventually jumped over the fence and made friends with my dogs. They would take naps together. I got pics!
We were so stupid to sell that house. I will regret it forever. But the taxes were already 7k in 2004, and probably around 10k or better now. The house is a whole nother story!
If you need some evergreen garden stuff or border stuff that can do great with no work but can be trimmed into anything Lagustrum/Privet. Cheap and no care aside from a bit of fertilizer and water. Evergreen

Hey, I finally reached the end again! That's two nights in a row!
Before I sign off, I'll add one more positive note. I had three eggs in the incubator left over from my Easter HAL staggered hatch experiment. There were five, last night, but two got tossed. I almost tossed the last three, thinking that they really didn't look right and it had been way too long, but something told me to leave them one more day. Well, as I type this, I have one drying baby and another beak peeping from a rather large hole in its' egg. The third egg has a sizable pip and is resting before it zips. Despite everything else going on in the world ... Life is Good!
