How many of you'll were working and still are or were working and now aren't.

I'm still working but have had to cut some hours to stay employed. My boss is losing a lot of his income so times are tougher for him which makes times extremely tough for me financially.
I'm actually one of those that live from paycheck to paycheck.
No bank account, no savings, no credit card or credit. We live very cheap and was usually making it from week to week with a little cash in my pocket but lately about two days a week I'm down to nothing.
Luckily ive been used to being broke so long the economy going to hell doesn't scare me like it does most.
So many lately have been freaking out about finances I'm glad I'm not in that boat yet.
I am kinda jealous of the ones that are home all the time now. So many things I could be doing around the house that I still don't have time to.

Hubs and son are still working. Both are wearing masks.
Hubs because he has to deal with the public. Son because it is mandatory.
I have not worked (for pay) in a few years now.
Hubs income is cut nearly in half as much of his comes from commissions. No he does not work in sales.

I'm home all day now ... but I'm not getting much done, because DD is home, as well and we're now home-schooling. It's tougher than I realized it would be. I KNEW there was a reason I didn't want her to take all honors courses this year!
I work for the public school system. Since I'm part-time at each of three different schools, my position is considered "fluid." I work every day, but am kept barely shy of full time hours. So, guess who doesn't qualify for unemployment? My summer job has shut down, possibly forever and my doctor says "no retail" - too high risk.
I miss my routine. I miss "my" kids, and I miss that regular paycheck! Luckily, DS has a full time job and is still working. We have no credit card debt and we have a little bit of savings, for now - but there's still the mortgage. If schools stay online this Fall, I'm SOL!

For the first time in six weeks we did something social. Daughter invited us to an outdoors pizza party with social distancing. Bathroom was disinfected for the Princess, and men had to use the great outdoors. We went, and it was great fun - no hugging or kissing just good talk. Son in laws step father (Italian) couldn't understand why we couldn't hug. Neither could the neighbor (Italian). They sure are huggy people. We've really missed them, and it was a great boost for the Princess's morale.

Nah - I feel badly for you. The stress of this whole mess is hitting everybody hard ... especially those who don't acknowledge or "believe" in it.

Yeah, good idea, but we don't drink coffee.
