They have cheese, butter, ice cream... :)

I thought Tillamook was good until I tried organic cheese, ice cream, and other products. Comparing organic cheese to non-organic is like comparing gelato to ice cream. There is no comparison!! I can't go back now!

Brand doesn't even seem to matter, I am convinced it tastes 10000000000% better!! I used to (in the 80s/90s) eat cheese by the chunks, then over time I didn't care for it so much, then I noticed my digestion system wasn't appreciating cheese (among other, especially dairy based, things). Some pizza places are much worse than others, for instance.

One day I decided to try a certified USDA organic "diet". I say "diet:" because I love junk food and there's plenty or organic chocolate, and that opened my eyes to a lot. One thing I came to realize is that over time the standard food (or you might say the standard of food) has changed and with it, the appeal to me. I feel like the organic certified food, while not perfect, more closely resembles the food that I grew up eating. It sure tastes like it!!

The real thing that hit home though. I could eat as much cheese, ice cream, and other products that formerly caused me great pain, with zero issues. I mean zero. I've been amazed with the results. My body is processing all the food much more efficiently and I never can't think of a single time I've had digestion issues since making the change.

Anyways...longer story short, I tried the organic cheese and started eating chunks of it again. It's so delicious and tastes nothing like the other cheeses. I will do everything I can to stay with certified organic food.

ERMAGERD!!

I had to hit Walmart for test strips and a very few groceries. People really tick me off.
Store employees are required to wear masks. Only 60% of the customers were. I was wearing one. Needed bread we are out. Waiting for the aisle to clear a bit and the store employees pulling pick up orders to finish. Total respect for them in all this by the way.
While waiting patiently 3 guys go in the aisle, no masks, wandering back and forth within 18 inches of everyone else in the aisle. So incredibly disrespectful. They weren't even getting bread just crowding up the aisle and making the order pullers cringe visibly.

I get home and the city has decided to mow the alley again. Normally they only do it once a month. This year I guess it is every week. I had 2 terrified dogs and 2 very angry dogs. Yes my poor babies were outside while I ran my errands.

Crossing my fingers the rest of the day goes better.

That was interesting!!!
Friendly's near us closed a couple yrs back. Do you have any Stewart's shop's (convenience store/gas station) in your state? They have their own ice cream. Excellent, much like all of Friendly's flavors and in half gallons still at the same price of competitors pretend half gallons.
We still have a few near us. I don’t think we have any of those Stewart’s though but now I wish we did 😭 we do have a couple ice cream shops nearby though including one right down the street that are delicious.

Looks like a slow day in this thread, finally I can RUN FREE AND WILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have not seen the Purdie shuffle, you owe it to yourself to watch this. This man is a human metronome. He's about to splain some things that you cannot see with your eyes.

And while I'm on drummers, this girl is ONE BAD BAD LADY!!!

So in the end, all I have to say is...reality hits you hard bro! That's right...reality hits you HARD BRO!

And it's not cool unless it's been songify'd

My work here is done. For now.

I eat a lot of organic products as well and I feel like they digest a lot better in your body.

I just ate organic brown rice noodles that I made into ramen 😁

I am about 90 minutes southwest of Flagstaff, I am closer to Prescott. Flagstaff is beautiful, as is Williams.
Great!!! Now I know what to plug into the GPS!!!
In my case I attribute it to my genes. Scottish, Irish & Norwegian! :lau :gig
Hurry up, I'm waiting! :lau I too have a lead foot, first car was a 65 Mustang. Now I drive nothing but trucks. However, my F250 6 speed is a dangerous beast if you know how to drive a stick. Drop that Biatch down into 5th, pop the clutch, hit the gas and she is gone! Oh I am sorry you want to do 40 in a 65 zone? Eat my exhaust. It's especially fun at roundabouts when someone has been riding your tail thinking you're the reason we were not doing the speed limit. Dropdown into 2nd, hit the gas, take them on the inside and leave them in a cloud of diesel exhaust. What? I learned to drive in Southern California. I don't have road rage! :barnie:th:lau
I never went that far, but I was a tiny wee thing in my 20's so everyone would bet that I would be drunker than a skunk before they were. Not even hardly! I won $500 one night because this idiot Marine new to the unit (nobody cared for him) said there was no way I could out drink him. We went toe to toe with shots of JD, after 8 shots he was starting to look a wee green. 9 came right back up and 10 put him under. Easiest $500 I ever earned. :lau
:lau :gig :lau you crack me up!!!! @ColoradoPip too. :lau

I’m a Tillamook snob now :lau JK. Sort of. I still eat deli cheese and regular ol’ butter and stuff but other packaged cheeses taste like chemicals to me now. :sick

Wow! That brought back an awesome memory! Years ago (many ... many ... moons ... ago!) we had a Stewart's nearby. Not the grocery store, the root beer stand! And not just any root beer stand ... THE ORIGINAL Stewart's Root Beer Stand! It all started there with an open-air drive-in restaurant (complete with roller-skating car-hops on weekends!) The rootbeer was draft, on-tap, straight outta the seasoned barrels it was brewed in.

Oh. My. Gosh/Heavens/GERD! That stuff was AMAZING ... and the food was pretty good, too! The restaurant evolved many times over the years, but finally closed sometime in the past decade. Sad, Sad, Sad times ..... But what a memory!
