I opened the package outside, and dumped the contents out. I then washed my hands. The package is in the fire pit. The content is a 2-pk of gopher traps. I managed to become a reviewer, and occasionally get free products.

So ... if you don't have gophers before you started, and you use the traps. Do they get a bad review because they didn't catch anything or a good one you don't have any gophers in the yard, now?

I've been working on getting the coop finished. I'm so close!

I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm grateful to have a job, and still be working through all this, but I am exhausted. We've been pretty busy (Lowe's), and people are cranky.
It's good for business, but people are coming into the store because they're bored from sitting at home, then they get mad because there's so many people in the store.

I just got back from Home Depot, they are regulating the number of people in the store so it wasn't bad. I wore my mask. I'd guess about 40% of people, or fewer were masked, but the employees all seemed to be, bless them!

Home Depot didn't have what I needed so I went to a local plumbing supply store. The guy there (owner?) was not wearing a mask. Said he didn't think anyone needed to be quarantined that wasn't sick .... . I pointed out that a person could be sharing the virus and not even know it. He didn't believe that for a minute. I paid for my purchases, got out the door and used the hand sanitizer I carry with me. Sigh.

I sure ain't.
When school closed they gave us all the info to get the upcoming work offline.
Well we don't have a computer, tablet, etc so I had to request the paper version and go to school for pick up every Wed.
The school said we would be at a big disadvantage not going paperless. Well not much I can do about that I said.
They said oh there's places that will give poor hillbilly trash like you a free tablet. Ok they didn't call me that just made it seem like they were.
BTW our school is only one in the area that won't provide tablets to students.
Long story still long I filled out requests to each one by one being turned down each time.
Our youngest ones teacher said oh I'll try a few things and get you a used one if you don't mind.
Of course not as long as it works figuring what the hell I already feel about as low as possible for not having one or being able to afford on at the moment.
After a couple more weeks still no luck. No one wants to donate a tablet.
By thjs time it has been a month or so so ive scrapped up a few bucks and see walmart has one on sale for $40. I go to Wal-Mart and of course they're sold out but the next cheapest is $50.
Oops sorry sold out of those to. Cheapest available in the 3 closest stores is $129. Can afford that.
2 days later I find one online from Wal-Mart. $37 and some odd cents. Only one left. Will arrive in 4 days.
I go to Wal-Mart put money on my prepay card and order asap before its gone.
Delivery date comes and goes. Says delayed will arrive tomorrow. It now 6 days after tomorrow and still no delivery. No update and no way to contact Wal-Mart or FedEx. Both make you go though text BS then say I'll get a customer service person in like 84 minutes.
I lay phone down and wait. Everytime it disconnects before ever getting anyone on the line.
That reminds me it's Wed I need to go to town and pick up some homework folders.

This is why it'll continue to spread on big waves because many have that same thought process.

Look on Amazon for refurbished next time. They have really good prices.

I had horses in a previous lifetime. One was a feisty Arab mare I bred twice. They were the light of my life for many years and I will always have a horse-shaped hole in my heart. My only consolation is my conviction that there will be horses again, in a future existence. ❤
