ERMAGERD! You haven't planted yet???

Turnip greens.....thanks for reminding me to get THOSE seeds planted. Turnip greens have a natural bit of spice to them. Super yummy.
:lau nope. :hide still haven’t gotten the garden ready yet either. :hide but I haven’t even planted or transplanted the potted ones yet . :hide
And no she hasn’t planted 😂 We are going to have to drive there and do it for her.
Good Lord!! Tossing my mini shovel in the car, and gloves. Oh and a hat....I need a haircut pretty bad now lol.

She has to many seeds to NOT plant would be a travesty!
I know. I’m about to have my chickens do a fly by and steal some of her seeds 😂

I’m going to start my other garden box. I only did one and my husband moved the other, I hate the location of it, but I’ll work with it for now.

Using those reusable grocery bags worked. I should get pics today maybe if it’s not raining. I have so much growing in them right now.
:lau :gig :lau

I would honestly love this!!! Lol
And what color should I paint my pallet coop?

We are going with a western theme. I want to make some things or get some things like barrels to hold their drinking water. I’ve literally gone insane... 😂 the straight jacket and padded room will be my next stop. As long as I have my Dolly we can handle it.
Idk but I love it :love

Dolly? Dolly! I have a Dolly! In fact, I have MANY Dollies! Back in my misspent youth - BC - Before Children - I was a Dolly Collector. My spare room (which is no longer "spare,") was FULL of Dollies. I had guests stay over who couldn't sleep because of all the eyes staring at them. We solved that by putting paper bags over all their heads. I wish I could find that picture ... it was priceless!

People around here have lost their damn minds. First it was toilet paper and paper towels, then hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. Now vitamins and meats. The last couple months been hard homeschool 5 kids in different grades. I wasn't cut out for that lol. We live on a farm so I'm greatful they can play outside have lots to keep them busy. We have our own beef, pork and chicken. So we don't need to rely as much on stores. The garden is 10x bigger this year than in the past. I'm over stressed because the dairy market is SO bad right now, milk is at an all time low for us and not even enough to buy their feed. So I wrap myself up in the chickens and goats trying to stay busy otherwise I start getting anxiety over the finances. Nobody here been sick, don't know anyone who has. I don't take the kids anywhere. If I go I go alone and am very careful. We have ah andicapped son and I cannot risk bringing anything home to him, he is immune compromised

I have a Dolly (chicken) and a Jolene (puppy). I’m a Parton fan.

I had to order my bread yeast online. Got a fresh new jar now.

*raises hand*
I grow Swiss Chard and have for years.
Nice in between for spinach and kale. I even dry the extras (and kale, and spinach too) so I have it to toss in my soups, stews, and casseroles all year long. It keeps the flavor quite well after being dried.

Yeah, I know that sounds weird, but when you get an entire laundry basket of the stuff from the garden each week, and it's too darned hot to stand at a stove blanching it for freezing, then taking up valuable freezer space you need for meat instead...one tends to get creative.

Pretty to look at too while growing-

Oh wow, thanks for this! I have a food dryer, will definitely start drying spinach, which I love, and kale for DH!
