What a strange virus. Had occasion to talk to our finance guy today. His neighbor, late 50's, obese, diabetic got it and recovered rapidly. The neighbor's wife, 50 in apparent good health got it has been on a ventilator for a month, and if she survives will most likely need a lung transplant. Things are opening up here in NJ, but caution and common sense is still needed. There is no telling who is vulnerable and who may be more resistant.

Wow. 《Shakes head》

That is awful. I’m so sorry for your neighbors wife and their family.

To be perfectly honest, I have yet to see ANY Australorp be a jerk ... male or female. If it helps any, you can assume that any others you get will be the same way.
BTW - have you ID'd Wesley, yet? ;)
I had an Australorp jerk! It was a female and would pick on everyone. I had it about 6 years ago. I rehomed that flock to a farmer a friend knew because at that time I was in the hospital quite often.

Have you heard about the benefits of CBD? If i didn't know, if I didn't care i wouldn't be sharing with you. It is a natural sleep aid and remarkable for alleviating joint and muscle pain. Ibuprofen is scary. :frow

I shamefully admit I take my dogs' CBD (peanut flavor!) to deal with their anxiety on things like July 4th. I can't stand watching them panic, even reduced panic, (and yes one of them gets the CBD too) so I take it too.

As I recall, and it's been a while, there was a place for 'other' or something on the genetics part of the form. I sent in the paper form, didn't do it online.

Ahh I did it online, I bet that could've made the difference.

My dog take CBD oil with THC for her seizures. It’s truly worked miracles for her. Our other dogs get some too on days with storms and fireworks. Our beagle is terrified of everything. She will kill a wasp or bee in one bite though. She doesn’t like buzzing bugs 😂

I used to give Gracie, my Sheltie, a Benadryl when she used to freak out before and during storms, and put one of my kid's outgrown sleeveles T-shirts on her, which worked like a Thundershirt. She doesn't need any of that any more. 😊

Those thunder shirts don’t work for the beagle for some reason.
