First off, I don’t know why I can no longer get my pictures to show in my posts. GRRR! Just started yesterday. I’m sorry. I hope it can still be clicked on.

I live in Alabama, one of the very few last states not to have any active cases of Covid 19, but it’s only a matter of time, I’m sure.

I think most places here are low on cleaning supplies, sanitizer, masks, and yeah, toilet paper. (It’s a dang respiratory virus, people!) Plain old soap and water will clean your hands and your butt.

However, one thing I have (and I’m sure others do as well) that I believe is an excellent sanitizer/disinfectant is Oxine (pictured) that I use for sanitizing my chicken stuff. It is a fungicidal - bactericidal - virucidal. I realize it is targeted for animals, but I can’t help but believe it would also work for people to.

Anyway, it might be worth looking into. I purchased mine on Amazon. Here is the name and website of the company.

I have used Oxine ah for years,countryside pets also sells with free shipping not sure how long this will be available. I wouldn’ t be with out it 6.5 oz per gallon in a spray bottle.

Covid-19 /this Corona is a new virus.

It's always a new virus, otherwise people wouldn't keep getting sick every year with colds and flu because of immunity to old viruses.

I also find it odd that off all things people are stocking up on TP is the main one.

I live in a area where there were 2 confirmed cases in my county and last time I checked 4 in the state (Tennessee). They have over 70 people in quarantine and like all love posts people are panic stockpiling everything. TP is gone all bleach, lysol, hand sanitizer, basically anything of that sort is gone. People aren't really leaving their houses. I went to Ikea the other day and at most there was thirty cars there. Maybe over 60 people in total at the store. Im not so worried about the virus im more worried about what panic riddled people will do.

There is now 18 confirmed cases in Tennessee 4 being in my county. Yesterday when I went to Walmart all the medicine was picked over bottled water, Clorox, Lysol, paper towels and TP were completely gone. Schools are starting to close.

It's going to be interesting seeing how this affects the customary greeting here in Spain which is a kiss on both cheeks.

I have wondered if that wasn't one of the reasons why it spread so quickly in Iran.

The best thing people can do is build up their immune systems. Eat well, get plenty of sleep, don't worry and supplement with vitamins. A multivitamin will do, possibly supplemented with extra vitamins C, D and zinc (the immune system builders). No more than about 40 mg of zinc, 4000 IU of vitamin D (make sure there's vitamin K in the multivitamin to work with vitamin D), and ascorbate for vitamin C instead of ascorbic acid that can upset the digestive system.

Also, if you smoke, quit; if you drink alcohol, stop until this thing has passed. There's an antioxidant that protects the lungs that gets depleted when it has to detoxify alcohol.

The problem with the kind of fear we're seeing is that it's contagious. It will end up hurting more people than the stupid virus will if the fear isn't checked.
