Ditto that!
On the tipping part. I don't have a dairy farmer sister. I was the farmer.
Don't tip cows.

Actually it's horses that sleep standing up, not cows. I know...I know... I just burst everyone's bubble. Yep, I'm that person!
:tongue

SpoilSport!

That was about the WEIRDEST 5:08 minutes I've spent in a looooooooong time!
Once I got past the he-cows with udders (really? Are people truly that uneducated?) I was rolling! That is SO getting shared around The Farm! (Chesapeake Gold Farms, North East, MD, if anyone ever wants to check 'em out.) My nephews are gonna LOVE it!

Not our steers, too big! Only when sedated...

John and Walker, with DH, who's 6'3", long ago, at a 'old time farm' show in Wisconsin.

I want a pair of Guernsey Oxen so badly I can taste it ... the problem is that none of the steers last long enough, because they all get ... ummm ... tasted!

I know, right?? The pissing in the eye was a squirt of milk from a he. 🤔🤯

This thread has turned weird 😂 never know what you’ll walk into on this thread.

By the way... I’m going to church this weekend. I’m wearing a mask and it is entry by sign up only. You can only sit with your family and it’s super secure. I haven’t been anywhere like that since January because of being hospitalized. I feel like a child about to get gifts!!!!

She is SO flippin' CUTE! How big is she? She looks really tiny, like our KoHana.
'Hana is a feral rescue, and she's so much smaller than our other cats that it's almost comical. Our largest, George, is a BIG boy! He weighs in at 19.4 pounds, but the vet says that only about a pond of that is fat. Teddy is as long and tall as George, but sleek & slender, like a pole-vaulter. We don't know how big Poe will get. He's a feral rescue, too, but you'd never know it to see him, now. He's as people oriented as they come! He's not a year old, yet. We thought he was nearly full grown, but now that he's finally getting good food on a regular basis. he's growing like a proverbial weed.
Georgie is a massive pile of glossy black, Teddy is a classic brown tabby with a coat like satin. Poe and Hana are long haired mixes - Poe looks black until you put him next to George, and KoHana is the spitting image of your girl - gun-metal gray with a bib and white feet!

Ours is tentatively scheduled for June 28th. If we can be outside, everyone is welcome. Plans aren't finalized for a foul-weather plan, yet. I hope it can be outdoors, St Mary Anne's is a very old church (320+ years!) and a beautiful old churchyard. I miss my church home and family!

This is in a MASSIVE building it can fit 600+ people comfortable. They only are letting in 150 people. That’s the maximum for our governor. You have to sign up and our friends nabbed 2 seats for us. We will be a family of 4. Their family is the only one I’ve interacted with since this whole thing started. They’re the only ones allowed on my property. Yesterday their son came to grab 4 pullet white leghorns for his neighbor. The neighbor was in love with our setup. I think they’re coming for more at some point. I have BCMs I’m growing for the son to ensure he gets pullets only. Think he wants some polish Deathlayers too, they’re truly drool worthy.
