Yeah, I know. I have not been worth a look in several years. Leave it to you to remind me of what I have lost.
We're ALL worth a look ... with some of us (like me!) "the beholder" just needs to look a little deeper, past the veneer. If all they see is the surface and won't/don't make the effort to see what's truly there, then THEY are the ones "not worth a look," NOT YOU!

And most of the time people who only look surface deep are the ones who die alone and miserable. You NEVER look at the surface because what it below is what matters. If you are only looking surface deep chances are the person you are with is just a conceited as you and you most likely will be divorced REAL quick or you will be that couple who has lots of regrets.

*sigh* :love:love
I miss the fair. I showed cattle as a kid at our large county fair and it holds some of the very best memories from growing up. Back then we were allowed to sleep overnight in the barns with our animals. In the tack stall of course, but so many of us would snuggle with our critters like that.
We still do! And not in the tack stall. We set up our cots right down the middle of the aisle. It was a good thing, too, my first time staying over. I was awakened at 2 am by a young Guernsey whuffling in my hair, looking for attention. Her neighbor had played with Kopen's lead, untying it, so she came visiting. I swear, those ladies are the biggest Golden Retrievers on the planet!

I just fed all my chickens and now its pouring so hard :rant Are you kidding me?
I have cute pics of the broodies too with the chicks. Can you believe that this virus has totally changed my life and my flocks life. We started meat chickens, I butchered my first meat chicken, I FINALLY succeeded with my gardening, I have been selling chicks, I have been creating new crosses, and I am totally enjoying this life.

I guess if there was one thing positive about this virus, it would be that it has opened my eyes to a new life.

When all this settles, just give me the word and we'll set you up. We can even get your chair unto the milking parlor - or bring a gentle Mama right to you so you can try your hand, yourself. Central VA isn't THAT far away ... Consider yourself invited!

I am such a sucker for any animal. We went to the zoo last year (the kind that rescues animals) and there was this lonely emu. No one wanted to go see it. You better believe I walked right up to it, looked it in the eye and pulled out some food for it. It was so happy and was letting me pet it. People were looking at me like I was crazy.

They also have this anaconda that is about 20 feet long. People never want to go in to see it (there is glass between you and the snake). I go in there and touch the glass and it always comes right to me.

I am not usually afraid of any animal. Maybe a wasp or hornets (they are jerks)... I will hold anything. I held a huge monitor at the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. I wanted to bring it home!

Okay, Folks. Hold the Phone. I have an urgent prayer request. My uncle in PA was just hospitalized with Covid. My Aunt is positive, but not hospitalized. That's ALL the information I have, as I can't reach my Stepmom to get more details. She and my 84-year-old father were just visiting Dean and Joyce two weeks ago - and were comfortable enough to share hugs all around. My Dad has multiple life-threatening issues - any one of which could take him at any time of any day, with no warning. I am physically sick over this.

DO NOT think the slow down means "Done."
Stay alert. Stay anally cautious. STAY PROTECTED!
And please, pray for my family.

You will be in my prayers. We will also pray for you on Sunday at church. Keep your head up!
