Okay, Folks. Hold the Phone. I have an urgent prayer request. My uncle in PA was just hospitalized with Covid. My Aunt is positive, but not hospitalized. That's ALL the information I have, as I can't reach my Stepmom to get more details. She and my 84-year-old father were just visiting Dean and Joyce two weeks ago - and were comfortable enough to share hugs all around. My Dad has multiple life-threatening issues - any one of which could take him at any time of any day, with no warning. I am physically sick over this.

DO NOT think the slow down means "Done."
Stay alert. Stay anally cautious. STAY PROTECTED!
And please, pray for my family.

Thanks for letting us know. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Keep us posted. And, MROO? Breathe.

Like BBH said, breathe girl. Big deep breaths. :hugs:hugs

First, THANK YOU, Everybody for the support and immediate prayers! I swear I could feel them, almost immediately - a sense of calm and focus. God is so very, very good - ans so are all of you!
I've finally had a chance to talk to my Dad. While all is definitely not well, it's a darned sight better than it could have been. The latest report is that Dean is hospitalized with a fever, but so far is not on a respirator. My Aunt is with him, Apparently she is not officially admitted, but is being allowed to quarantine herself with her husband - a weird but good side effect of her having tested positive, too. At least they can keep an eye on her, too and he doesn't have to be completely alone. I'll take that as a "plus."
Another positive is that, during my Dad's visit with the family two weekends ago, Dean and Joyce were NOT THERE. So, as long as no one else at the gathering had already picked it up from them, he may not have been exposed. He will contact his doctor first thing in the morning and request a test. Knowing my Dad, he'll talk the doctor out of it, but I hope common sense prevails and he gets it done.
So, all things considered, it could be worse. I guess I'm not going to see him for Father's Day, except maybe through the storm door glass, again. For now, I'm breathing ... slowly. If could just get my stomach to settle ...

MROO

Your worries hits home with me tonight, we're trying to decide about going and seeing my Dad for father's day. The wife has a nephew getting married tomorrow evening that we will skip, being around bigger groups of people bothers her with her issues she has. Being around her brother causes us both stress. I think we will go see my Dad just don't know how many good fathers day/ birthday celebrations he has left. We can do it with limited contact and not drag things out,as much as possible, maybe, Mom can drag about anything out.
