I don't have cable either. But I do have internet + wifi though a normal telephone line and watch Netflix / tv with an App and Google chromecast. Not always perfect but it’s a lot cheaper than a cable connection.
I don't have internet, but I use my hotspot on my tablet or phone to hook up my smart TV so I can watch Netflix.

Last night my husband helped me finish the puzzle because it said it was driving him crazy that I didn't touch it yesterday 😂 we spent 2 hours doing it together...

Now we are going to do a 500-piece puzzle and the pieces are mini compared to this one 🤦🏼‍♀️

Good news, heard that malaria drug, just going from what I remember hearing, one of the top doctors in the world did a closed study of fifty people with covid in France that resulted in a 100% cure rate. Now it might not be a vaccine just a treatment but it looks like we may be able to save many lives. Another good thing I heard it's a already approved drug, safe, and easy/cheap to produce. :fl
Is there any studies or stuff we can read on this?

I did hear a doctor on tv mentioning a research with a malaria drug as a treatment too without any results. Hope they not just tested 50 young prople in the army as they used to. And 50 is way too few to be sure. But its a start.
And gives hope for yhe near future.
Thanks for sharing. 💕

I know in the United States there were two drugs that the president asked them to please pass through with the FDA so that we can try to give them out to people because there's been somewhat good results but not enough for them to help everyone.

It takes so long to get medication passed through the FDA, it's usually a five-year process.

I know everybody wants them to speed up the medication passing process, but in doing that you can really screw a person's life up with long term effects.

This exactly. Fear is more contagious than any pandemic.
The other way around imho:
This pandemic is more contagious as we (America/Europe) have seen before. That’s why we fear. Just don't panic. No need for that.

Just stay away from people a while if you can. Stay healthy and happy.

I've been following that map as well, but lately they have been lagging behind quite a bit. But then again I'm finding state sites to also be lagging too. I wish there was one good source, like the Johns Hopkins site, that also shows county by county in the US states.

First case in our county was Tuesday. On Wednesday we had 8 cases. They have since stopped giving updates?

You definitely need to stay home, my parents & inlaws too, but my mom is hard headed and may kill my father if her isolation is enforced!

That would be my wife. :love We have instituted daily walks in the little used municipal parks.

This exactly. Fear is more contagious than any pandemic.

A little fear if it inspires common sense is a good thing. Panic and stress on the other hand is counterproductive.

Zone 5, right? Sometimes my kale and spinach would make it through the winter when I was in 5a. I even had some Swiss Chard survive a couple of the milder winters. Mild being not weeks on end of sub 0 temps for the highs. 🥶
I would always treat the garlic coming up in the spring as waaay more exciting than the daffodils.
Yes zone 5
Kale and leaks I have luck overwintering... except the years it's minus 25f
Swiss chard I usually lose by January
