Luna apparently really likes this tote for some reason. :lau

Also we are currently getting an afternoon rain and thunderstorm! :D

It just started a little bit ago. The rain is really coming down now.

We've been trying to use our new chicken plucker to process some cockerels for the last two weeks but it was missing parts out of the box. Then the shipped parts got delayed in the post office 'cause of COVID related delays.

Today we finally got it running well and processed the last of the 8 boys. They will be tasty but I need to be a little more proactive in the future with shipping delays. I'm very happy with the plucker so far! What a nice bit of equipment.

Guess I gotta start planning for winter holidays now or something. Or nothing I need will get here on time. :p

What plucker did you get? And where did you get it?

Anyone else feeling the frustrations surrounding back to school? (I know it's really early for some, but things are getting started around here)

I know what we are doing at my house, but the districts seem to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Each district put out hybrid plans a few weeks ago but one by one they are having to switch to all virtual and push back the start dates because they are not ready or kids don't have the technology that they need.

Makes me wonder what they did all summer because it doesn't appear that planning was on the agenda.

I do not think my kids will be returning to regular in class school until next fall.

This virus has messed with a lot in our lives and it’s hard to adjust but there’s nothing we can do but get used to it... it’s like we are backed into a corner with no way out.

I am glad though that most places are taking this seriously. Losing lives no matters who’s life it is, is a serious thing.

Hilarious video Chocolate! Thanks for the laugh this morning.

We chose to start all virtual but the schedule they sent only has two classes for my kiddo and all I got in response, so far, was "whoopsie" ....only a week and a half out from start.
Happen to be on the local news site at 10:00am for a different reason when the breaking news banner popped up that our district just called a 2 week delay like other area districts have.

Cases are going up fast around here and I have a feeling our district will wind up going all virtual here soon. We will be fine, but it's the not knowing and watching everyone scramble around that's becoming disconcerting.
