The local hospitals are out of masks... I'm guessing in large part due to the sheer volume needed / being used by doctors / nurses, but I'm also guessing in part due to people buying them up (like TP).

Thats very possible. Our local Lowes store still has masks, but they are limiting them, I think only 10 per person is allowed. People are definitely hoarding them.

I need masks to change my bandage on my Hickman line that gives me IV meds 24/7 and I can't even get them. Most of the masks are actually made in China unlike TP. People who are hoarding them are disgusting to me because they've already said they won't help the general public. There are people who truly need them... Doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, and patients with lines like mine.

Can I sew one and mail it to you @FortCluck?

I didn't rush out for TP I still have a good stock from prepping for my son's visit last Xmas.
Generally he goes through a lot but, he spent more time visiting his friends out here.

You don't have to... Send them to the hospital. I'd rather Drs and nurses get all they need. I NEED my Dr to make it out of this because he saved my life. I'm scared for him because he's been working the ICU for weeks straight.

I'm going to be making as many as my chubby little fingers can handle, lol. Send me or @IamRainey your address, we need to take care of our BYC friends just as much as those in the medical field. My husband has a heart condition and needs them as well and he's going to be sporting a chicken fabric mask if that's the only fabric I can find. lol
