G exits quarantine soon! Monday! His sense of taste being gone is still distressing but we've pivoted to giving him different textures instead of flavors. Crunchy carrots and bell peppers, soft eggs, squeaky fresh mushrooms, toast, chewy granola bars, things of that nature and that helps. Today I will be eating one of my Very Hot Famously Spicy Korean Ramens That Nobody Else Eats(tm) and I'll put some on a plate for him so we can see if he can taste it. It's a real powerful punch of not just spice but also umami so he may get pick up on some of it.

Not able to taste! That would be disheartening all right! . When my son had it, he couldn't smell, but could taste.

It's been a conspiracy theory for decades, but especially more recently. Recently because the Gates Foundation sponsored a bunch of vaccine research and vaccine administration programs. Long term because some people are crazy and think that they're trying to track you with RFID numbers and such. I heard this nonsense on political radio shows as a wee kid in the early 2000's after 9/11. Claiming vaccines were created by the devil and would give you the mark of the beast. Can't fix crazy.

I woke up an hour before you went to bed.
