Do you really think MREs are fresh? LOL! When you’re really hungry you’ll eat most anything. Before they were discontinued we would get occasional tiny bottles of Tabasco sauce. It helped.
They still come with the tabasco sauce. Lol, can the "bread" in MREs ever go stale? Or the Imitation Pork Riblet? That's a good one to snatch up right there.

How is it determined that you've passed the peak already? How many were infected?

That's a good question. If 1,000 people get sick at the same time, there's a peak on a graph. If 1.000 get sick over a period of a month that would flatten out a peak . . It's a matter of how many get sick at the same time. It's still the same amount of ill people, just spread out more.

I will definitely look into fostering, that way it’s not permanent yet and it won’t cost me anything besides food unless I decide to keep the dog.

❤ Hope your hubby will be on board. It'll help out the shelter and I think being able to "test drive" a dog is a fantastic way to see if it fits into your household without fully committing (since sometimes a dog doesn't work out, especially if you have other pets).

Yea maybe there should be a commercial about how this "social distancing " and shelter in place" work.

Yeah unfortunately I don't think the states are explaining it well to people. Was just talking to my friend in NYC and she didn't even know that their "shelter in place" order was set for 90 days.

He was the one that brought it up actually haha so he’ll be on board fostering a dog/test driving it to see if our dog will get along with him/her.

And whoa 90 days?

@MROO

I was just on my local news site and saw a header that local disaster relief agencies are hiring, and I thought of you. With your background maybe you could provide logistics?

I'm betting all of the US will need people to provide the same relief and services that we typically see after hurricanes, floods, or earthquakes.

My daughter says they are now hooking patients up to a single ventilator in pairs. They can rig together tubing that allows the machine to keep them both breathing. ...which is good. Hooray for ingenuity and adaptability! ...except that these patients are then sharing the same air directly into their lungs and if one has a fungus infection -- apparently that's part of the later stages -- they now both have the fungus infection.

They need the help that planning and equipping back in January when the WHO declared a pandemic might have provided.

I thought vents run by pressure they inflate the lung with in sinc with breathing. How does 2 people do that?
