That's an impressive stat for which we need to thank those health workers and conscientious Californians who mask up and avoid contagion.

Nevertheless, every mortality in the stats listed above is a person who might not have died if this country had a functioning public health system and addressed this virus early and robustly instead of actively promoting the lie that Covid was ever a "hoax" or "just flu".
