I'd also ask you to be aware that, despite relentlessly topping the list of new cases daily, CA ranks around 35-40 out of 50 states in the number of new cases per 100K and deaths per 100K. That's an impressive stat for which we need to thank those health workers and conscientious Californians who mask up and avoid contagion.

It also helps explain why our mortalities are comparatively depressed. Nevertheless, every mortality in the stats listed above is a person who might not have died if this country had a functioning public health system and addressed this virus early and robustly instead of actively promoting the lie that Covid was ever a "hoax" or "just flu".

Promote my site? And what site is that? You mean the group I made on here where people post pictures of their funny poultry? That site!? Also, my ‘garbage conspiracy theories’ were stating what i have read so far on this thread. It’s been made so that people can discuss their opinions on what’s they think about Coronavirus. And when you say ‘waltzed into’ you sound as if it was a thread not for meant for the public when in fact it’s for the whole of the BYC community to read and post their thoughts!!!!!

The BYC staff has asked that you not post in this thread if you don't believe the virus is real or a threat to you. Coming into the thread just to be contrary and start fights with people who are struggling and suffering is not advised.
If that's something you dislike you're welcome to message TwoCrows or Nifty to complain about it.

Especially coming in almost a year after the original posts!! I know he only recently joined but still.... check dates and/or think about what you’re saying before replying.

Plus even if he disagreed, he could have tried to start a discussion instead of a fight and been like I disagree with that because of XYZ and examples and stuff instead of just “that’s dumb”

Nice! This took me back to the early 80's when I was lucky enough to see him live at Ka'anapali Maui. Beautiful warm day, great fun crowd, fabulous music it was an amazing time... I was also lucky enough to work on tile in his Maui home, nice place, great view as you can imagine. I never met him but my old boss said he is a good man which confirms the rumors on island lol. Thanks for the mellow -almost as mellow as the young Hawaiian men lighting up a joint as they were walking by our house this morning- "oooh that smell, can't you smell that smell...?" I no longer partake in such things but maybe today will be one of those kick back days w/o it! Remember those?!!! The signs are all there- yeehaa!
Happy about-to-be Holidays all!!! This is the second time I am poking my nose into this thread, think I will watch at least until the New Year or I get vaccinated. Ha!
So since this is a Covid thread and daily effects of- I am happy my island is quarantining visitors for 14 days again, so our C19 numbers are dropping down to nothing again. Not like plenty of you folks and my heart goes out to all- especially the thoughtful ones. Mahalo for your due diligence, it all maters. Thank you first responders and front liners!!!

Oh no worries! I did not think of it much (xo!) and certainly did not take personal We are all staying busy in our different ways as best we can.
I get distracted by my fabulous and adorable chickens constantly. My new thing besides raising Brahma's to breed (thank you covid) I gave (brother) roo#2 his own 3 pullets and am now on day 2 of introing them into the main flock. This is in hopes of being able to keep 2 happy roos with 2 separate but together flocks for my egg layers. I am currently sitting on pins and needles while eating my waffles and banana's hoping passive #2 can hold onto his girls and not let big bro steal them and then have to be sad and miserable with no girlfriends. Looks like, so far there is a good bond and the girls like sweet/passive Little Big Earl. The day they all hop into the main coop to sleep together I will be dancing. It's good to be so easily entertained... right?

I love watching my animals too - I think it's good to find peace and joy in simple things like that. The chickens aren't nearly as much fun as the dogs IMO but both are great. I especially like watching the pollinators in the summer, but it's too cold for that here now.
