Yes.... My Better-half and kiddo's have been quietly increasing our "fur kids pack" with the sad reality of those we have lost over the last 14-15 months....

I have shown the in the other party threads but, hers a couple to tide ya over, eh?

Big dogs are a necessity ... and I love them ... but gimme a shih-tzu (or almost any other fuzzy mini) ANY day! I miss my little pompom girl!

Thanks for the smiles, everybody ... even the icy cold ones! I needed them more than you know, last night - and they were nice to wake up to, today.!

Glad you're feeling a little better. Now, for god's sake, DON'T turn on your TV! ...not even because I said not to!

Yes, MROO. Do not turn on your TV. In fact much better to just take a LOOOOONG walk through somewhere with no internet signal or electricity at all. That would be wise.

I believe I will spend half of today playing my videogame about dinosaurs that try to kill me and the other half playing my board game about cannibalism and monsters with the boys. That seems like the correct course of action right now. Low stress things. :) Ya know.

Not an issue. Don't have TV service. No cable. No satellite. Nuthin. The only movies we watch are the ones I have or can borrow on DVD. I may live in the Stone Age, electronically, but at least I don't have to watch people throwing those stones every day. I'll take it!

Our goto game is Ticket to Ride, all about train trips. It sounds and looks complicated, but it's not. Once you've been guided through the first game, it's really easy - and any level can play. We also like Blokus, for pretty much the same reasons. My then five-year-old fairly bested her MENSA uncle in it - and has never let him live it down. It's awesome!

Ticket to ride is a good one! "looks complicated but easy once you've played" is kind of a motto in our circles. That's how all our games work.

We're planning on cracking into Kingdom: Death Monster for tonight, which is a bit more complicated than Ticket to Ride but basically it's everyone against the box in a monster fighting game. But we also have Pandemic Legacy: Season Zero which is more of a middle-complexity game like Ticket to Ride is and we've been meaning to crack into it, as well as Betrayal at the House On The Hill Legacy.

Ok. We MAY also have a bottle of Lambic to crack into for the night. >_>; Seem appropriate.
