I got curious and went looking. I have family in DC, including a former BIL who is/was a bodyguard for a senator. I am now officially afraid.

UPDATE to ADD - BIL is okay. He transferred out a while ago, and is a bit irritated (and grateful, too) that he missed all of the excitement.

Ever had a Lambic ice cream soda?

I bought my first bottle of Lambic because I was so intrigued by the idea of beer made from fruit. The guy who sold it to me told me to put a scoop of ice cream in the glass. Naturally I had to try that.

My husband who enjoys beer thought it was awful. I who don't care for beer at all thought it was great. Not really sweet. Not really beer-y. But interesting to be sure.

I have not, but that sounds REALLY good. Might be worth breaking out tonight. I also dislike beer and like lambic.

Surprise, surprise. There is no bottom yet.
Congrats America on the good stuff that happened today. I think I may have heard a pop of our head coming out of our butt for about a second but then the roar of the crowd drowned it out as I am sure was the intention.
Pretty soon we will be weeding our gardens again and rid ourselves of the rats, snakes, turtles and jackasses that have been residing in them. Ahhh true freedom. Well, for those who are not being investigated that is.
