I got that a lot when I was in grad school. Good for you for having strong boundaries. I love entertaining and try to make people feel at home but I don't like unannounced visits. I usually have straw in my hair and look like Medusa.
Ugh, yes, unannounced! Around here people don't knock either. They open up the back door and walk in hollering, "You home?" Have I mentioned I'm not from around here? This was a major shock to my system!

All right, I go to bed, and then off to work, and zillions of posts later, people are still discussing 'retirement'! Tomorrow is another work day, fun in the big city again, and then nearly no work days the rest of the year. Good! Too much in October, ready to 'retire' yet again.
And the most recent co-worker, unvaccinated, is back from having a very unpleasant C-19 experience. "Didn't think it was going to be so bad"! Amazing! Fortunately not hospitalized, and doing okay finally. Actually it's hard to be real sympathetic, sorry.
Mary
So will she go get vaccinated now?

And I would need a large truck because I heard you can bring a dog. This is my dog.
You would definitely need a big truck with that beauty!

It wasn't Sam :D
Well THAT must have been awkward, especially for "Not Sam". Good thing you were discussing dinner and not actively in "the act"!

First the first year of marriage he called my husband Cody. His name is Corey.
So was "Not Sam" Corey/Cody?
