Exactly. Fluoride is very poisionous
the element fluorine ingested on its own is toxic.

in combination with the other ingredients in toothpaste, the chemical compound fluoride is perfectly safe.

that’s how chemistry works.

same thing with table salt. if you ate sodium on its own, your face would explode. when you combine sodium wirh chloride, you get seasoning for your food.

Yea but table salt doesnt have a warning on it not to ingest more than a "used for brushing"

Or its because the fluoride is making people stupid:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7261729/
did you even bother to read this article? it doesn’t say what you think it says.

the levels of fluoride we ingest from water, food, and toothpaste don’t carry the burden for human toxicity.

the levels needed to impact us neurologically and developmentally are orders of magnitude higher than we actually consume.

the exact same could be said about anything

from the conclusions section:
“However, the experimental evidence suggests that current exposure to fluoride, even for individuals with relatively high fluoride intake, is clearly below levels that lead to adverse effects in vitro or in animals. The discrepancy between experimental and epidemiological evidence may be reconciled with deficiencies inherent in most epidemiological studies on a putative association between fluoride and intelligence, especially with respect to adequate consideration of potential confounders…
…Overall, despite the remaining uncertainties, and based on the totality of evidence the present review does not support the presumption that fluoride should be considered as a human developmental neurotoxicant at current exposure levels in European countries.”
