Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I am thankful for:
The fact that there are less Covid cases
Being able to get together with family again
Being able to travel safely again
Being able to go without a mask
Two words: Box Wine
:wee
New covid cases are still pretty high, like really high.
And now there is a new variant - "called B.1.1.529 - had a spike protein that was dramatically different to the one in the original coronavirus that COVID-19 vaccines are based on."
"We don't know very much about this yet. What we do know is that this variant has a large number of mutations. And the concern is when you have so many mutations it can have an impact on how the virus behaves," said Maria van Kerkhove, an epidemiologist and WHO technical lead on COVID-19.

Yea I heard about that on the news this morning. How convenient theres a new variant right before christmas.

I think it is inconvenient and quite sucky. If people had- and still can get the Vax, wear a mask, stay home and be safe- used common sense, maybe we would not be here ⬇️
Being tired of and burnt out is not a good option and I know we all are.
