What are helminths and what is schistosomiasis?

Helminths is a name that includes flatworms, roundworms, and segmented worms. Schistosomiasis is a disease caused by flukes (a type of flatworm) that is second only to malaria with how badly it affects people. Symptoms vary depending on where their eggs wind up in your body, but can include severe organ disease and even death.

They don't. They understand medicines often have more than one function. Aspirin is an analgesic; it is also a blood thinner.

Good news. Took my bp this morning and I'm out of the hypertension zone but barely. 136/87. Pulse is still high at 109. That tells me the pill is working so thank goodness for that. Still waiting on the call from the dr. I'm hoping she just does a telehealth visit

My dr is more than likely calling me today. I checked my test results online and its not good. My thyroid is fine at least that. I wouldn't say any of it is through the roof necessarily but definitely abnormal. Kinda worried I have asymptomatic covid. My husband has been exceptionally tired as of late. My white blood cells and red blood cells are high. Either way I'm not going anywhere today until I hear from my doctor. Could also be that I HAD covid and this is my body responding to it. Whether or not I know I'm sick of being and feeling sick. It took me forever to get this appointment and I have good insurance. I probably should have dealt with this years ago but I didn't have insurance. And when I did, I feel that my doctor ignored my concerns regarding this due to my panic disorder. I like my new doctor. She listens.

Anyone heard of more studies being done along this line?

A few that are supportive of aspects of what they found... found by working out from that those researchers - a fairly quick search of the names in published research the cite or that cite them. I'm spending most of my research time on other topics lately.

Yeah that will get you arrested just like people licking ice cream or sneezing all over produce in a store. That’s obnoxious and well done for playing into their hands. A medical apartheid is upon us over something that was either a dumb mistake, biological warfare or a bit of both.

Unvaccinated people who have had COVID-19 before and survived through it are also not immune from getting it again either as much as they might like to think so. You can’t blame me for taking extra precautions to not get sick or spread sickness on to anyone else and I feel that it is our duty as citizens to protect the most vulnerable.

I don't think anyone has blamed you for your choices. Even most who have said they are making other choices have directly said they support your choice.

Edit to add. Choices about taking the vaccine. I think your choices of what I hope is meant to be humor undermine the "protect the vulnerable" part of the reasons you give for your choices

Thank you. My doctor had said that low vitamin d could cause my hbp and my d level was very low. I'm hoping I just have to take a vitamin.

Low vitamin D can indeed make you feel horrific. I was extremely deficient for years and it took a new doctor joining the surgery to look through my blood tests results and say ‘um, so has anyone told you your vitamin D level is basically non existent?’ I went on 60,000iu for like 6 weeks and have to get another course from time to time. Some people have trouble making/absorbing it from their food or sunlight.
